Library Lovin' in Biloxi

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the Library Lovin' Challenge! I had 60 comments and have decided to donate the full amount of $100.  The library I chose wasn't exactly nominated, but it's the sister to one that was.  The East Biloxi Temporary Library is still in a trailer five years after Hurricane Katrina.  You can see it here.  The good news is that they are planning to move into a new building in a little over a year that will have a larger YA section. So I'm donating $100 plus a copy of Forget-Her-Nots to expand their YA shelves. I spoke to librarians Paul and Charlie on the phone, and they're thrilled. I love making connections! In other recent news, I've been amazed and thrilled that so many libraries all over the country - Cincinnati, Sacramento, Baltimore, and New York City - have Forget-Her-Nots on their new acquisition shelves already. And the best part of all was that most of the books were checked out! Excuse me while I go do the author happy dance.  (It looks something like the Charlie Brown Christmas dance.)
